Bleach the Movie: Fade to Black........permanently.

The third movie to the Bleach sega was released onto DVD December 13, 2008 in Japan. Bleach the Movie: Fade To Black was later released onto the internet (of course in a way not allowed, but still did it anyways.). Yesterday I watched it and found it not as enjoyable as the previous two. But that could just be me. I'm not saying the movie was a complete disaster, it had its moments, but it was a big let down.

So the story begins with a mysterious spiritual pressure explosion in the center of Seireitei. The cause, from the labs in squad 12 and the captain who appears to have gone crazy. At the same time, in another place in the soul society, a strange power overwhelms Rukia and erases her existance from everyone's memory. This also includes any memories of Ichigo. Back in the real world, Ichgio temporally forgets Rukia himself, but when remembers, he realizes Rukia could be in trouble. So he heads off to Urahara to go to the Soul Society. It appears though that both Rukia and Ichigo have been wiped from his mind. Suspicious he sends Ichigo to the Soul Society and once allies and friends attack him. They also don't remember him nor Rukia. Now with no allies but Kon, Ichigo must now survive in enemy territory.

The story is pretty good and interesting to watch. But I still don't like it as much as the first two. First of all, the ending was kinda of crappy. Sure I understand that she lost people she cared about, but why cry so hard? If you watch the earlier episodes, she doesn't cry for her other fellow friends. Also, why was Ichigo the only one who could remember? Renji and even her brother didn't remember her. I kinda wish they did, it would make the story interesting. Another thing, I wish it was more funny. Like in the end Renji could punch Ichigo for hurting him. Then an argument breaks out. But NOOOOOO they didn't. Ichgio also seemed a lot stronger than the rest which poses the question, did they become stronger thanks to Ichigo? In the other movie he got bloody in the battles. In this one he cut his cheek and arm. This makes the battles seems more easy. By the first maybe, 15 minutes, of it I wanted it to go faster. Oh well, it is not completely bad, and good way to pass your time.
Overall, 6/10
